Thirty flavors of ice cream with Italian gastronomic excellence.
It is the “Gelato delle Regioni” project, presented today in Milan, with which the Rigoletto ice cream shop was awarded the exclusive management of the Ice Cream and Chocolate thematic area inside the Italian Pavilion. Located at the entrance to the Cardo, near the theater where Cirque du Soleil will perform during the exhibition, the Rigoletto space is a 62 square meter structure in removable and reusable wood, covered in tricolor plants. The ice cream parlor’s creations will be accompanied by an info-taiment activity, with videos that tell the story of the products and the territories from which they come. “Participating in the tender was an opportunity to go beyond the limits of the artisanal company,” explained the administrator of Rigoletto, Antonio Morgese. “We believe we can represent Italian excellence, but above all we can spread the culture of good ice cream, which means teaching people to recognize the product made with good ingredients and with an excellent process”. “It is estimated that 85% of visitors go to the pavilion of the host country” said Marina Geri, marketing and commercial director of the Italian Pavilion.
